We pick stocks from a non-HU managed storage type and delivered to production supply area bin in two stages. In the first step, fork lift operator picks from the High rack and places on to the Toe Train. In the next step Toe Train operator delivers at the Product supply area bin.
When we are trying to set up LOSC without Pick point for the above scenario, during the WO creation we get error "Creation of HU not possible as HUs are not allowed in storage type .....".
As per my understanding, we neede to create HU to move materials in LOSC (without Pick point) via intermediate storage type. This does not mean that we need to have HU management active for the source storage type.
For testing purpose, I have allowed HU stocks for my source storage type...then WO creation was successful...but I only got Product WT from source to destination storage type. System did not create HU WT to move the stock from source to intermediate storage type.
Does anyone has clue on my problem?

my scenario:
1. Worker enter Exception Code;
2. WF start and create PI document for the product in bin;
3. EWM offer next bin with same product;
4. If next bin not found;
5. Adjust outbound delivery with Difference Quantity.
Everything works fine, exept step 5: Delivery adjust, if i customize for exeption code, delivery adjust with code O001, EWM does not offer alternative bin for the product and immediately adjust delivery qty, and close WT.
Any solution, logic, customazing missing?

Our requirement is to transfer the stock which is supposed to be scrapped to another plant and storage location combination so that the valuation of the scrapped stock can be made to zero. As the stock has to be managed in the warehouse, both the plants are assigned to the same warehouse.
We have created a storage type(SCRA) which will store the stock to be scrapped. We want the automatic transfer posting to happen and hence based on the concept of the availability group, we have done the following:
Created a new availability group: SC1
Assigned this availability group to the new plant (PL01) and storage location(SL01) combination along with EWM warehouse and ECCs logical system:
PL01 – SL01 – SC1
Now this availability group is assigned to the newly created EWM stock type(S8) and Non location dependent stock type (BB):
SC1 - S8 – BB
Assigned the availability group to the storage type : SC1 – SCRA
As per the set up, my expectation is that when the stock is moved to this storage type using the WPT 9999, the system should trigger a posting change to a different plant and storage location based on the availability group mentioned in the storage type which is in turn connected to the Plant PL01 and Storage location SL01.
However, while confirming the WT that got created, I am getting this error message:
Could not determine subsequent stock type to F2
Message No. /SCWM/WM_SEL079
What could I be missing here?
I have tried changing the non location stock type assignment to availability group & stock type from BB to FF without any help.

we have some problems with the Sales Unit in ERP after GI booking in EWM.
If the delivery in ERP has delivery type NLCC (Replen), position type NLC (InterCo Stock Tr.Itm), EWM changes the Sales Unit from SU (SalesUnit) to PC (Piece), for "normal" deliverys (LF) it's not changed.
Already checked mapping of delivery type/position type --> both are OUTB / ODLV.
Customizing EWM
SPRO --> Goods Issue Process --> Outbound Delivery --> Manual Settings --> Define Item Types for Outbound Delivery Process --> For item type with doc. category FDO, field "Update Delivery Item SUoM." is unchecked all the time
What else I need to check?

We are trying to configure the layout oriented storage control. We have done the required config as per our understanding. The system is identifying the requirement of the intermidiate step for the defined destination storage type.
The issue is, system is creating only one warehouse task to move the HU to ID point. It is not creating the second task to move it to final location. So basically, it is just replacing the final destination (as per the putaway logic) in the task to the ID point defined in layout oriented settings and not splitting the task.
Any pointers to the missing config / logic.

I am trying to replicate a scenario .
We are receiving a complete HU from High rack and moved to work center for repacking .
After the repacking the remaining product move to the High rack and the rest to the destination bin ( Floor Rack ) .
For example : Due to replenishment the task is generated to move the Product to floor but the complete Hu is not moved .
Rather , they are moved to work center and broken down according the packaging specification , In the example , the replenishment is for 2 pc and the available quantity in the high rack is moved to Work center , now here I take 2 pc and move the rest back to storage type (high Rack ) .
I am able to replicate the same in the system with LOSC ad POSC , but breaking the HU automatically by the system is an issue .
The HU is not getting broken into the two HU , one is the HU we received from the source and other task that should break the HU into 2 pc and for he same the system should deconsolidate . It should leave with 98 in one HU and other with 2 pc in a special bin .

I have configured everything (both in ECC and EWM) for mapping the customer return delivery. However, when I created the return delivery from the return sales order, it created the delivery with the Dec Whse status "D - Planned for Distribution".
Searching for notes, SAP document said I can run the monitor to push it to distributed. I ran VL06O and VL06 but no option to push it through.
Do you have any idea what I might have missed?

Can someone help me with correct steps to create shipment in ECC which can create TU in EWM using standard IDoc interface?
I followed steps as per help.sap, integration between ECC & EWM is fine. I could see the shipment IDoc in EWM but it is getting failed. After debugging I have realized that I should not pack HUs into Container while creating shipment in ECC.
But is that correct process?

We have turn on serialization for few products in Warehouse to enter serial number mandatory. We made sure Serial Number Profile is populated correctly for them in ECC & eWM. But some times system is not asking (forcing) to enter serial number while performing goods receipt using /SCWM/GRPE. This happens intermittently. Any help appreciated.

When we do create unloading WT system updates the goods receipt status.
Also at same time in ECC 101 movement type is updated.
Is there any way to hold the goods receipt status in EWM/ECC system till Putaway task gets confirmed.
Material document is ECC shall posted after Putaway task confirmation.

Inbound process-> putaway -> Putaway by cluster
My requirement is to display destination bin assignment screen for first HU only.
Right now this screen is displayed for each HU as per standard behavior. We are planning to use same destination bin for all HUs and hence
Destination bin assignment screen should be displayed only once i.e. for First HU.
Below theraed mentions about skipping RF screen permemnantly but I need to skip it for first HU only.
Customer enhancement in EWM: Skipping a screen in RF transaction
Is there any way to achieve it by config. or by coding in exits.

Currently our client is considering to implement WM and eWM module.
It seems to be their requirement is very simple. They just want to mange the stock by storage bin level in the system.
Currently all paper work is so much pain for them to handle.
By proposing the SAP WM, I am considering following points
1 . The effectiveness of WM
2. What is business returns
3. The Shortcome of WM
Especially #3 is very important, as clients managements and our internal consultant all says SAP WM is not good.
But they never tell how bad it is..
I would like to have your opinion. Maybe agree or disagree.

I have created PO from ECC and created inbound delivery which is distributed to EWM and notification also created successfully in EWM. I am trying to convert into inbound order and do the GR.
But in ECC the inbound queue got failed and I could see below errors in ECC.
There is no handling unit with identification 350003550000002182
Because of previous error, dispatching is not possible for ID 0900000732
Error during goods receipt posting
Basically system is trying to update inbound delivery in in ECC but its failed. I guess there is some HU config in ECC but I could not find the steps. Can some please help.

I'm playing a little bit with the EWM warehouse cockpit in order to figure out whether it could be useful to the project I'm currently working on.
I created several tailored measurement services and calculation measurement services, and allocated them to my brand new cockpit. However, I cannot find which configuration has to be made in order to be able to display charts with several data series/data categories.
For example, I can display a chart with the ratio (full bin / total bin) for storage type 0010, using two TMS for the variants and and one CMS for the formula. But now, what if I want one chart with this ratio per storage type, that is one bar for storage type 0010, one for 0020 and one for 0030 ?
The demo object present in the standard system has several characteristics, but so far I didn't find how this can be applicable for measurement service objects.
Does anyone have any idea ?

As my understand tRFC will be used to transfer the data but I wanted to debug R/3 to EWM.
I tried with external session break point(in target system) and done the debug setting(in calling R/3) TRFC block sending.
However I could not debug in EWM from R/3.
Please advise.
