ECC->EWM interface - How to populate custom fields in EWM Append-structure?

Hi all,

 

 

I need your help please, can anyone advise?

 

We have the following situation:

Outbound Deliveries are interfaced from SAP ECC to SAP EWM according to the standard set-up, using OutboundDeliverySPE.SaveReplica and OutboundDeliverySPE.DeliveryChange.

 

Now I have to send some extra SalesOrder-fields from the ECC SalesOrder to EWM, and put them into the EWM Delivery table.

According Note 351303 I am able to fill the structure EXTENSION1 on ECC side with the required data.

 

 

In EWM, I enhanced structure /SCDL/INCL_EEW_DLV_ITEM_STR with an APPEND-structure, containg the new Custom-fields. These are now visible and usable in table /SCDL/DB_PROCI_O

 

In EWM I implemented BAdi /SCWM/EX_ERP_MAPIN_OD_SAVEREPL - method MAPIN from interface /SCWM/IF_EX_MAPIN_OD_SAVEREPL.

When debugging the Interface at that point, I can see that the segment  EXTENSION1 is succesfully received in EWM with the new data.

 

 

My question is: Where, when and how sould I extract the data from  EXTENSION1 and put them into the new APPEND-structure?

Do  I have to put them directly into the DB table ?(I assume not)

How is EWM handling these APPEND-structures?

system is not proposing to the quantity classification storage type in putaway

While working with the quantity classification I am facing the problem.

 

flow is

 

warehouse product 1 each is packed into packagaing material pallet with 30 each. HU type is Euro pallet.

 

I have maintained the packaging specification with one level and maintained quantity classifier as pallet (P).

 

in the storage type search sequence I have maintained search sequence with quantity classifier P and search sequence.

 

for the search sequnce I have maintained 3 storage types for example A,B,C.

 

the second storage type B is maintained with quantity classification as P.

 

I have maintained configuration optimize Access Strategy for Storage Type Search: Putaway with check box quantity classification.

 

for the received quantity of 30 from ERP I have packed the quantity.

 

when the task is created system is proposing the storage type A instead of storage type B.

Goods not updated in ECC

  Hello Experts ,

 

I have created IBN and completed the GR process in EWM. The system updated the status as Goods Receipt is completed.

However, when I checked in ECC , system is not updated the Stock Qty in ROD . Also I found that in Inbound Delivery Status , the Document status is showing like DWE - Blocked ( Error in ERP ) . What could be the reason ?

 

I have checked the outbound Queue . In that , its showing with my user ID one function module : /SCWM/BW_UPDATE_PRE_QRFC - Transaction Recorded  status.

 

Do you have any Idea where need to be checked from functional or technical point of view  ? Your response is appreciated

Availability group putaway

Hello, Experts,

 

Our business Scenario ~

 

One Plant

Two Storage Location:

- Normal Storage Location

- Sample Storage Location

 


We want to putaway one product(just one product Number)  to right storage type(Normal Storage type, Sample storage Type)

 

How should I configuration and distinguish two storage location in EWM?

 

 

 

 

Testing Scenario  as below:


T-code: VL31N


Product A   Normal Storage location     Qty

Product A   Sample Storage location    Qty

 

------------------------------------------------------------------


Maintain  Product Master A in EWM

 

Putaway Indicator is Normal Storage Type and then Sample Storage Type ( I'm not sure how should I set sequence ?)

 

Maintain Availability Group

 

Normal Storage location Availability Group    =  001

Sample Storage location  Availability Group  =002


Maintain Storage Type

 

Normal Storage Type   N000   and set Availability Group    =  001

Sample Storage Type  S000   and set Availability Group  =002

 

Maintain WPT

 

How should I do?

Because Document Type + Item Type +  Availability Group is unique!

 

EX:  INB+ Item Type are the same in two storage location

 

so we cannot conifuration to  both scenario!


INB+ Item Type+ WPT (for Normal Storage location)

 

INB+ Item Type+ WPT( for Sample Storage location)

Delete or change outbound delivery distributed to EWM.

Hi gurus,

I create an outbound delivery in ERP and it is sent to EWM, EWM activates it automaticaly. Then I decide to cancel (delete) the outbound delivery. Altough the status of oubound delivery order is "not started", when i try to change it using VL02N system does not allow to change it. Posts an error message " The delivery was distributed, meaning that processing occurs in another system. The report back has not yet been received.".

What do you advice me to do.

texts of inbound delivery is distributed from ECC to EWM

We have a trouble that our EWM key-user need a text information which written in inbound delivery(text site:goto--header--texts--warranties) of ECC, then the inbound delivery of ECC distribute to EWM  via t-code vl06, the inbound delivery notification(IDN) and inbound delivery(ID) are created automatically via PPF, but there is nothing texts information in ID or IDN.

My question is how to get the text information in inbound delivery from ECC and display that text in ID in EWM.

Verification Field not getting displayed in my custom RF program

Hi Experts,

 

I have developed a custom RF Logical Tx having 3 steps. The 1st step of program contains a single field named Destination HU( /SCWM/S_RF_PACK-NLENR) and a push button for creating "New DestHU"(For New HU creation) .Upon pressing the button user is navigated to 2nd Step which has got 2 fields namely  Destination HU( /SCWM/S_RF_PACK-NLENR) and Destination HU Verification( /SCWM/S_RF_PACK-NLENR_VERIF). The issue is during execution this Verif field is not getting displayed.

I have followed the below given steps for implementing the Verification field:

1. Filled Screen group 3 to "002".

2. Maintained the "Verification Profile" in customization for the 2nd Step and correct Presentation/Personalisation profile combination.

3. Checked the field named as "Valid.Prof" in the "Define Logical Tx Step Flow" against the FCode-ENTER of the 2nd Step.

 

Have I missed any step in Config or do I need to put some code in the PBO/PAI Function Modules?

Update LOBM_VFDAT in AUSP..

Hi All,

 

I Have a custom logic for VFDAT and its working fine in VL01N->Batch split->New Batch->Selection criteria there LOBM_VFDAT is displaying correctly Via an object dependecy FM(custom logic for LOBM_VFDAT).

 

But the problem which i am facing is that the values which is populted in Selection Criteria for LOBM_VFDAT is not updated in AUSP.

 

Did anyone have any Idea how can achive this.

Post difference after WT confirmed

Dear Experts,

 

Please kindly help for the following business scenario:

The only way we would know the exact quantity picked is through a counting machine, which occurred after picking WT is confirmed. I would like to know is there any way to post quantity difference even after the picked quantity is confirmed?

S159 table update issue VL35 (wave picks)

Hi all

I have an issue.

I am trying to configure wave pick according to time slots and capacity restrictions


I have done the following configs

  • Number Ranges for Wave Picks
  • Define Group Types for Wave Picks
  • Define Number Range for Group
  • Calculate Workload
  • Control Update of Workload Data (below screenshot as it is, could not figure out this one)
  • Maintain Time of Comparison for Forming Wave Picks
  • Maintain Wave Picks Profile
  • Maintain Time Slots
  • Maintain Time-slot Group for Wave Pick


After this I create a delivery for picking through VL04 for a stock transport order

And then I execute VL35. I get below warning message. I am stuck here.

Searching a lot of places i found that S159 update might be one of the issues.

I checked and indeed S159 is not updated. I checked in MC26, table update is active.


OUR REQUIREMENT:

What we want is to create a wave containing multiple deliveries with similar goods issue time.

Pick the wave in 2 steps, i.e. pick from racks and then distribute to different trucks. Replenishment functionality is also required.


Also I went through SAP documentation but I am still not clear when to execute VL35 and in fact the entire functionality

What will be the steps

Create delivery >> Create Group >>Create TO from group >> Create Wave from group>> Process wave>> PGI?? Am very confused.

Or is wave created after PGI.

Appreciate any help.

Cross docking in EWM with material number

Hi,

 

There is a requirement to cross dock (Box in and Box out). Please inform whether it is feasible to cross dock the Handling units in EWM without creating the material numbers in HU in ECC / EWM system.

2 different PPF actions triggering two different smartforms

Hi,

How to trigger two or three different smart-forms (which are triggered using different PPF actions) on to the same spool?

Suppose I have two ppf actions

1. triggers  X smartform.

2 triggers   Y smartform.

 

one after the other. Now the requirement is get the both into one spool. I know we can do by open-spool and close-spool. But I'm not looking for this solution.

Is there any specific configuraation with PPFs?

Pick Pack Pass with POSC

Dear Experts,

 

We will be implementing Pick Pack Pass due to conveyor setting in the warehouse. And after all sub-WOs are completed, we would like the pick-HU pass through a staging point(bin 0020-04-04-B in below picture). But after the pick-HU enters the bin, the subsequent WT to GI-zone is not created automatically. I have try a few external steps for this purpose but none of them works. Please kindly share some thoughts.

Hi All,

EWM Client Copy

Hi Experts

 

Does Client copy work in EWM?

 

As we copy whole client in ECC for training or any other purposes, can we do the same in EWM? Does it work?

Why am I asking this, as logical system will be difefrent in new client  and all the integration done between clients and business partner in EWM will have reference of old logical system.

Has anybody tried this?

Same HU for 2 clients in the same route and same unloading point?

Hello all,

 

We have an issue for 2 different clients in the very same adress: Both have the same unloading point in the same route, but materials cannot be packed in the same HU.

 

Client 1 - Distribution Route A, unloading point 1

Client 2 - Distribution Route A, unloading point 1

 

If try to repack 2 items in an HU, we get error message: "different clients cannot be repacked in the same HU". What we are doing now is to create 2 diferent HU, one for each and then palletize both in a multi-customer HU.

 

Where can this option be trigered: 1 HU (not palletized) for 2 different clients
